var t = 'Enjoy a Guided walk on Dartmoor as part of your holiday or be taken into the moor to go wild swimming in one of the lovely deep pools in the rivers that flow over Dartmoor.

Nick is an experienced walker, and a qualified walking group leader, with a wide range of knowledge of the moor, both of it's history and folklore. Let him guide you along and learn about the folk of the moor, their work and life, and the tales of the moor to both amuse and facinate you.
Walks can be arranged to suit your needs, from a stroll to points of interest, to a day's walk covering greater distances, taking you to the more isolated areas of the high moor.

Nick can also guide you to secluded pools for wild swimming in the moorland rivers, if you would like to experience the exhilerating feel of fresh cold water after a demanding walk.
More accessable pools can also be visited, less strenuous walks with the same goal, a deep cool pool to enjoy an exhilerating swim.

Special walks can also be arranged, for instance, over 2 days, covering the entire North - South route across the moor, staying at Owls Roost or Holly Cottage overnight. East - West walks allow you to cover the width of the moor with the goal of a comfortable cottage at your destination.

You can sit down, together with Nick, and choose your own route and destinations and he will prepare a walk to your requirements, or, let him guide you along his own interesting routes and hear the history and folklore of this facinating area.

Nick can also provide you with a selection of laminated guided walks that you can undertake yourself.

We offer drop offs to enable you to walk back to your accommodation from different parts of the moor.

For the cyclists, we also offer drop offs to enable you to cycle home to Owls Roost or Holly Cottage.

Whilst Dartmoor is an extremely beautiful and exciting landscape, the weather and conditions can change rapidly. It is essential that you come prepared with clothing, footwear and equipment to undertake moorland walking. Nick can advise you of what you will require before you arrive.
